RDA – CENTER contributes to reduce socio-economic imbalances in the region. In accordance with national and regional development policies, RDA develops and promotes strategies, attracts resources, identifies and implements financing programs, offers service in order to stimulate sustainable economic growth, partnership and entrepreneurship.

Approval of the Strategy for Sustainable Development of Podgoreni village, at the Podgoreni council's meeting
On May 28, 2010, at Podgoreni council's meeting was approved the Sustainable Development Strategy of Podgoreni village. The Strategy was elaborated by the Agency for Rural Development-Center at the initiative of Podgoreni Town Hall.
Sustainable Development Strategy was developed in a participatory way, for a period of 5 years 2010-2015.
The working groups were formed on 3 domains, with the following composition:
Local Coordinator: Constantin Mîţu
1. Economics and institutional capacity: Vasile Copăcean, Aurica Fornea, Maria Radu;
2. Human and social development: Taisia Margin, Daria Roşca, Feodosia Graur, Agnesa Tihon, Vera Cujbă;
3. Environment and Municipal Infrastructure: Constantin Mîţu, Ion Rusu, Nicolae Sandu, G. Mîţu.
During the meeting it was decided to form a committee beside the Town Hall to implement the Local Strategy for Sustainable Development.
