NGO Rural Development Agency – Center extends its activity on the Rezina, Telenesti, Orhei and Soldanesti districts. All four regional administrative units vary by area, population and the general level of economic development. Orhei district is located in the first place according to the listed criteria. The four regions possess a rich history both in historical events as well as cultural, where native Moldavian traditions were preserved. Not be left in the shadow the tourist potential, represented by numerous natural and anthropic, which with an efficient management can help increase the volume of accumulated funds in the budget of the sector, as well as to attract streams of tourists both from outside the country borders as well as domestic, thus facilitating the promotion of local tourism product. Regarding the entrepreneurial side, it has undergone significant changes in positive direction, majoring the number of individual enterprises in all three sectors of the economy in the last ten years. The infrastructure remains similar for the entire country – under the normal development level, ways of access remaining the most pressing challenges in this chapter. This is the basic impediment to increasing the pace of economic development and to achieve the exchange of goods on domestic markets.
