RDA – CENTER contributes to reduce socio-economic imbalances in the region. In accordance with national and regional development policies, RDA develops and promotes strategies, attracts resources, identifies and implements financing programs, offers service in order to stimulate sustainable economic growth, partnership and entrepreneurship.
Intermediate results of the SGP III
Small Grants Program Round III (SGP III) announced in January 2010 has funded 25 proposals out of 85 submitted. The final selection procedure for receiving proposals SGP III was conducted by the Commission of Experts, based on the evaluation of assessment forms of project implementation and results of conducted study visits. Projects which have obtained the minimum score established for each criterion were eliminated from the competition and the first 25 projects under the maximum score in the hierarchy have become beneficiaries of the SGP III.
Thus, were initiated 15 businesses (5 – Hair Salons, 1 - Woodworking manufactory, 3 - vulcanization; 2 - fitness centers, 1 - FORTAN processing manufactory, 1 - metal processing manufactory, 1 - Internet center; 1 - cutting wood hub manufactory) and 10 enlarged businesses (2 - auto repair shops, 2 - metal processing manufactories; 1 - poultry hall, 1 - Hall of processing cereal products, 1 - tourist hostel, 2 - wood processing manufactories, 1 - a computer room within an educational institution).
There was organized a round table for the SGP III beneficiaries where they were informed of steps to be followed for a successful implementation of submitted projects.
For a period of one year PGM III Winners receive advisory support (technical assistance, consulting, training) and financial asistance (equipment, furniture, accessories and tools) from the project. During this time they have to ensure the achievement of the objectives and initial quantitative and qualitative results.
This program is implemented by Representative AO "Hilfswerk Austria in Moldova”, within Vocational Education and Rural Development Project, funded by the Austrian Development Cooperation.
