Let’s vote – let’s make a conscious choice!

In October 2010, RDA-Center became a recipient of Grant Program “"Support for civil society to promote free and fair elections in Moldova" launched by the East European Foundation.

Within the Program, RDA-Centre is implementing the project "Let’s vote – let’s make a conscious choice!”. The project will be implemented between 10/25/2010 to 12/24/2010.

The project is intended to support civil society efforts to promote free and fair elections in Moldova.

The project aims to increase the participation of citizens, especially the youth, in the elections from November 28, 2010, from Orhei, Rezina and Soldanesti districts.

The specific objectives of the project are:

1. Increasing awareness of the impact and importance of voting to about 50% of the 33,000 young people aged 18-30 years;

2. Offering the correct information about voting process and electoral legislation to the citizens of the 86 localities from Orhei, Rezina and Soldanesti districts.

The project "Let’s vote – let’s make a conscious choice!" is made possible with the financial support of Eastern European Foundation with funds provided by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida), Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark / DANIDA.
