RDA – CENTER contributes to reduce socio-economic imbalances in the region. In accordance with national and regional development policies, RDA develops and promotes strategies, attracts resources, identifies and implements financing programs, offers service in order to stimulate sustainable economic growth, partnership and entrepreneurship.

PENSION "FAIRY TALE HOUSE"

The Tourist’s Pension “The Fairy Tale House" (it was named so because the house’s walls are painted with scenes from the Fairy Tales) located in a very beautiful place – the Old Orhei area, Orhei district (Trebujeni village), officially opened in summer 2005. Mild climate, picturesque landscapes, and precious archaeological and historical monuments: ruins of the medieval fortress of Orhei town, Raut river valley landscape, abundance of different organic agricultural products (grapes, fruits and vegetables), curative waters, diverse recreational opportunities, are just some of the attraction factors.

Pension description:

It's not only comfortable and nice inside, but outside - the yard, summer terrace and household auxiliary facilities are also well designed. Tourists appreciate the elements of civilization over the past combined with the conveniences of modern life. Decorative elements in moldovan national style, give the pension an authentic style, unique in the region. Folkloric performances organized for tourists makes the illusion of permanent holiday.

Modern bathroom, comfortable bedrooms, traditional carpets made of wool, bells and other figures made of husk, fireplace, large living room – this is the description of tourist’s pension “The Fairy Tale House”, arranged according to the requirements of three or four stars.

Services:

Currently, the package that we offer is diverse and attractive, including:

• accommodation for 8 people;

• serving meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner for 50 people;

• folk performances and crafts services;

• guide services: trails to historical monuments and landscape;

• transportation: walking with the cart, boat;

• fishing;

• participatory agricultural work / vegetable / viticulture;

• sales of souvenirs made by local craftsmen;

• tasting the wine, tea, herbal infusions, cakes, etc.

Price list

Price for accommodation:

• “The Big House” – 25 euro per person; accommodation capacity – 4 persons;

• “The Room” – 30 euro per person; accommodation capacity – 2 persons;

Meal preparation and service space is reserved for 50 people, the cost of a meal is:

• Breakfast – 80 -100 MDL (about 5 – 6 euro)

• Lunch – 160 – 180 MDL (about 10 – 11 euro)

• Dinner – 100 MDL (about 6 euro)

Here you can taste a large range of traditional meals. The Specialty of pension’s kitchen are: pies, homemade cakes, rolls, homemade soup with noodles, steak etc

The artistic program cost is: 30 min – 1 hour – 350 MDL (about 21 euro)

Participatory works such as vegetable farming, viticulture and fishing are included in the cost of accommodation;

Guide services at landscape and historical monuments are offered by specialized people from the local museum, and the cost is determined by them.
