From Partnership to Flourishing Regional Development

What progress has the Government of Moldova made in regional development in 2010? What practical examples do we have of this progress? How can we strengthen partnerships between local government and civil society and take citizens’ interests into account when planning and implementing regional development projects.

These and other issues will be discussed during the Regional Forum on "Partnership for Sustainable Regional Development," organized by the Association “Rural Development Agency – CENTER” (ADR-CENTRU), in partnership with the Ministry of Construction and Regional Development of the Republic of Moldova, Agency for Regional Development, and funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). 

The event will be held in Chisinau, on November 10, 2010, 10:00 in the Conference Hall of the "Turist" Hotel and will bring together members of national and local civil society organizations, representatives of public authorities, private sector, donors, and experts.

At this event, ADR-CENTRU will present their www.strateg.md portal and introduce their project "Strengthening the capacity of the public-private-associative partnership constituents and implementation of public policies in the Development Region – Center” funded by USAID through the Moldova Civil Society Strengthening Program (MCSSP) implemented by the Academy for Educational Development (AED).
