Prizes awarded to local TVC contest participants

On Monday January 13 and Thursday January 17, ADR-Center awarded all the participating high school teams who took part at the TVC contest “Let’s Vote – Let’s Make a Conscious Choice!”

Prizes included sports equipment, school supplies, and electronic equipment. Sports assistance was distributed in the form of volleyballs, soccer balls, basketballs and volleyball nets. Students also recieved school supplies such as Romanian and French literature, dictionaries, encyclopedias, pens, watercolors, A4 paper, certificated, CDs and pens.  The most advanced winners received electronic equipment such as printers, CD players, and microphone.

The captains of each team were rewarded for their active involvement and good team organization with a 16 GB flashdirve.

In November, The ADR- Center hosted three TVC regional competitions in Orhei, Rezina, and  Soldanesti. The 13 teams all came from high schools in these districts, and the competitions attracted a total of more than 168 young people. On November 23, 2010, four teams participated in the Orhei competition at the cultural centre “A. Suruceanu”. On November 24, six teams from Rezina competed at the district’s cultural house. On November 26, three teams from Soldanesti competed at the cultural house in the village of Cotiujenii Mari.

The TVC contest was organized within the project “Let’s vote – let’s make a conscious choice!” with the financial support of Eastern European Foundation, the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA), and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark / DANIDA.
