Public debates on the topic: "Public acquisitions: problems and solutions"
Tuesday, March 29, 2010, during the "Ask accountable for public money” company, in the conference room of Orhei City Hall, weekly newspaper “Cuvintul”, in partnership with local authorities organized public debates on the topic:" Public acquisitions: problems and solutions".
The round table was attended by City Hall employees, district councillors, local economic agents, NGOs representatives, local media and budgetary institutions who wanted to come up with objections, proposals and suggestions for improvement across the public procurement system, ensuring a transparent process for the maximum efficiency of public money spending.
Ion Stratulat, Mayor of Orhei, said that there are some gaps in the legal system, which creates difficulties in public procurement at various stages.
