RDA Center's mision

RDA – CENTER contributes to reduce socio-economic imbalances in the region. In accordance with national and regional development policies, RDA develops and promotes strategies, attracts resources, identifies and implements financing programs, offers service in order to stimulate sustainable economic growth, partnership and entrepreneurship.

Round table organized at the initiative of the Association of Mayors of Orhei District

Thursday, 04 February 2010, the Association of Mayors of Orhei District organized a round table, within which have been discussed the next issues:
•    Infrastructure Development Strategy of Orhei district for the years 2010-2011;
•    Contributing of Orhei District Council to establish partnerships with neighboring countries;
•    The problem of District Council contribution in technical and investment projects;
•    Restoring the activity and function of the Department for Attracting Investments in the Orhei District Council.

The roundtable was attended by Orhei District Management, Mayors, and District Councilors heads of divisions and sections of the Orhei District Council.

It was found that there are some deficiencies in communication between LPA of level I and II. It was agreed that such meetings will be held regularly, at least once a month, to develop in close connection with the RDA-CENTER of a portfolio of priority projects for community development.

It was also agreed that the next round of the workshop "Participatory Planning" will be held on February 10, 2010 with the theme "Ways of solving the identified problems ".
