The guests from Denmark visit “The house from Fairy Tales” pension
Wednesday, August 4, 2010, the pension “The house from Fairy Tales” (renamed "Villa Verde”- “The Green Villa”) Trebujeni village, Orhei district, hosted a group of 45 people arrived from Denmark.
For six years, a travel agency from Cluj, Romania, organizes during the summer, groups of tourists from Denmark which cross three states over 11 days: Romania, Republic of Moldova and Ukraine. The journey to Moldova aims to visit three locations: The Monastery of New Neamt (Chitcani village, Slobozia district, Transnistria) The Old Orhei Museum Complex (Tribujeni village, Orhei district) and cellars of Milestii Mici (Milestii Mici village, Ialoveni district).
At each visit to the Old Orhei, the agency from Cluj, organizes for the tourists the dinner at the "Vila Verde “pension. Tourists are greeted with bread and salt, wine, music and Moldovan specific cuisine.
The Pension “Villa Verde” in 2009 was one of beneficiaries of material goods within the Small Grants Program Round II of the project "Vocational Education and Rural Development" managed by Hilfswerk Austria in Moldova NGO and supported financially by the Austrian Development Cooperation.
The group of tourists as well as organizers was extremely pleased with the host's hospitality, quality of service and traditional dishes, rustic entourage and artistic program.
