The project "Women can succeed" in Orhei
Tuesday, July 20, 2010, in the meeting room of Town Hall Orhei was held a roundtable “Equal Opportunities-balanced participation of women and men in decision-making process” organized within the National Campaign of the Project "Women can succeed-balanced participation in decision making process" supported by United Nations Democracy Fund.
Purpose of the event: to sensitize the local, regional and national stakeholders on the importance of promoting gender equality and equal opportunities between women and men in society.
Participants included: representatives of Orhei District Council (Economics Department, Finance Department, and Culture Department), RDA-Center NGO, “Pro Democracy” NGO, “A. Donici” Orhei District Public Library, “Elita 5” TV Channel.
