Training on “Grant Proposal Development”

Wednesday and Thursday, October 20 and 21, 2010, at Vocational Training Centre in Grigorăuca village, Sangerei district, was held the first module of the training “Grant Proposal Development”(GPD), for the Department of Social Assistance from Sangerei district, and the second module "The Logical Framework” for the Department of Education, Youth and Sport from Sangerei District.

The GPD training first module was attended by 14 representatives of the Department of Social Assistance from Sangerei district.

The first Module of the training put into discussion the topics:

- The specific components of a grant application form;

- SWOT analysis, identifying the stakeholders;

- Writing goals and objectives according to SMART criteria.

During the GPD training second module, the 25 managers of educational institutions from Sangerei district discussed in details the components of a Logical Framework Matrix (vertical and horizontal logic, Identifying important external assumptions and risks).

The training session on ECF consists of two modules, during of which, participants are familiarized with the modern demands of the Application Form elaboration, accumulates the basics knowledge about the body parts of a project and are able to write a grant proposal.

The GPD training, second module, for the Department of Social Assistance from Sangerei district, will be held on November 3, 2010.
