TVC in Orhei!

Tuesday, November 23, 2010, inside the District Cultural Centre "A. Suruceanu" Orhei, ADR-Center has organized the contest TVC "Let’s vote – let’s make a conscious choice!" focused  on teams of lyceums from Orhei district.

TVC contest aims to promote the elements of election education of the young generation, the importance of participation in voting, and the necessity of acquiring information in order to make a conscious choice on 28 November 2010.

At the TVC took part four teams, each representing a party invented by them: 

1. DOMINO Party - „A. Donici” Lyceum, Peresecina village

2. TNT Party – „A. Russo” Lyceum, Orhei town

3. PCO Party – „I.L. Caragiale” Lyceum, Orhei town

4. The Optimistic Party – „On. Ghibu” Lyceum, Orhei town

Participants were put to a test in 3 (three) tryouts: The Party Presentation; Debates between party leaders (captains trial); Homework "Yes, I vote on 28!”

The entry to the TVC contest was made based on tickets distributed by the participating teams. At the entrance in the concert hall, all the young people who were18 years old, presenting their ID cards could receive a ballot, to be able to vote for their favorite team at the end of the contest.

The process of determining the winning team was composed of two components: publics vote (based on received ballots, which were collected into six mobile ballot boxes and counted by the delegated people from each team) and the jury’s score.

The jury was composed of representatives of Orhei District Council; General Directorate of Education, Youth and Sports; Culture Department; the District’s Election Commission; Orhei Town Hall and RDA team.

At the end, the jury’s score was summed with that of "voters" and the winners were awarded.

Of the four teams who competed, the best was the TNT Party from „A. Russo” Lyceum, Orhei town. All participating teams have been awarded. The awards consist of Sports equipment / books / office supplies.

Also, the ADR-Centru will organize the TVC contest on "Let’s vote – let’s make a conscious choice!" in Rezina (11/24/2010, District Culture House) and in Soldanesti (11/26/2010, House of Culture in the village Cotiujenii Mari).
